Description: | Lustrous translucent pale-yellow fairfieldite crystals in spherical rosettes to 4 mm diameter on lustrous transparent colorless wedge-shaped albite crystals to 1 mm. Fairfieldite is a rare phosphate mineral that is rarely obtainable in good crystals. Ex. S. Kelland collection; acquired in 2003; ex. Betts #21177 |
