Locality:Hilton Mine, Scordale, 4 km NE of Hilton, Cumbria, England
Description:Classic specimen of many lustrous transparent yellow cubic fluorite crystals to 14 mm completely covering one face of a plate of colorless quartz crystals to 15 mm. The fluorite crystals fluoresce bright violet under longwave ultraviolet illumination. Ex. John Rakovan collection #191; originally acquired from Everett Harrington
