Description: | Intersecting doubly-terminated lustrous transparent purple amethyst quartz crystals to 50 mm on smaller of lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 12 mm. The amethyst crystals are water-clear in the terminations with milky center sections. From my private collection; ex. Tim Swan collection at River Valley Mineral Museum (Rumford, Maine) #600 |
