Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorphs after Anhydrite with Chlorite and Laumontite
Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent green prehnite epimorphs after anhydrite crystals to 15 mm with dark chlorite micros and a few white laumontite crystals to 3 mm. The anhydrite crystallized first, was overgrown with prehnite, then the anhydrite dissolved leaving hollow molds Collected 22 May 1995
