Description: | Large (for the species) single crystal of green copper-rich adamite with a group of colorless calcite crystals attached on one side. The adamite crystals green color is caused by copper impurities and commonly labeled as Cuprian Adamite. Ex. Miller collection T072; ex. Betts #61857. From the private thumbnail-sized mineral collection of Frank Melanson; collected in 1991. |
