Description:Lustrous transparent pink-red spinel crystal with no matrix attached. The spinel crystal is octahedral form, with naturally rounded edges, and has complex concave surface depressions where the spinel crystallized with marble that later dissolved away. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination. Weight: 1.8 grams. Ex. Miller collection T3994; ex. Betts #79055
