Mineral:Kutnohorite with minor Calcite
Locality:Wessels Mine, Kalahari Manganese Field, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Description:Two intersecting tapered formations of fibrous pink kutnohorite. The ends of the kutnohorite crystals fluoresce orange under SW UV illumination indicating that most of the specimen is kutnohorite, with only small amount of calcite.
Overall Size:38x25x20 mm
Crystals:micro to 32 mm
