Locality:Hondo Canyon, Taos County, New Mexico
Description:Sharp well-formed translucent red-brown staurolite crystals with no matrix. The staurolite crystals are cruciform twinned at 90° angles. This staurolite twin was well prepped to remove any remnants of matrix. Ex. Miller collection T3378; acquired in 2017 from E. Greene
