Description:Sharp, well defined black birnessite pseudomorph after a prismatic 19 mm serandite crystal. The serandite crystallized first, then altered molecule by molecule to birnessite, while maintaining the original serandite shape. Pseudomorph = false form. Ex. Miller collection T698; ex. E.
