Description: | Two 7 mm transparent orange-brown scalenohedral calcite crystals surrounded by sparkling red-brown transparent sphalerite microcrystals. The sphalerite crystals are also visible inside the calcite. Sphalerite, a sulfide mineral, is rare at this site. Ex. Miller collection T448; ex. Betts #33488 |
