Locality:Wheatley Mine, Phoenixville District, Chester County, Pennsylvania
Description:Large cluster of lustrous green pyromorphite crystals lining cavities and surfaces of brecciated quartz-rick matrix. The pyromorphite crystals are hexagonal prismatic form with flat basal pinacoid terminations. This famous mine closed in 1920. Ex. John Durkos collection #334; acquired in 1985 from Dick Willis for $450
