Locality:Tri-State Lead-Zinc Mining District, near Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri
Description:Superb gypsum pseudomorphs after doubly-terminated scalenohedral calcite crystals on black sphalerite matrix. Outer surface has green ktenasite impurities, making a very aesthetic formation. Ex. Edward R. Swoboda collection (see Mineralogical Record V. 28, No. 6.)
