Description: | Quartz micros on blue chrysocolla over malachite pseudomorphs after bladed azurite crystals to 20 mm. The azurite crystallized first, altered molecule by molecule to malachite, keeping the azurite shape, then was overgrown with chrysocolla, then quartz. Ex. M. Sussman |
