| Description: | Two large interpenetrant-twinned rhombohedral calcite crystals to 75 mm with overgrowth of a second generation of lustrous transparent colorless calcite crystals to 2 mm. Under shortwave fluorescent illumination the calcite fluoresces orange. Ex. Paul Seel (1904-1982) collection #4899; the mineral Seelite was named in his honor. |
